22-06-2006 Zarnovica - The storm

Not a big surprise - in these hot days the storms came very quickly and unexpectedly.As our cotage is up on the hill, I had a good change to take a shots of coming storm.If you see any idiot staying before storm on the hill, it's probably photograpist trying to take a good shot no matter what can happen with him.

Maybe you know storms in the mountains. This one was quick and powerfull. We survived, becouse cotage was very near.

21-06-2006 Zarnovica - Nature around cotage

I was on the cotage for 6 days, the nature is beautifull everywhere around. The walking in the nature and near hills is soul healing, I RECOMMEND :-) to do it sometime.
Some shots I'll post now, at first some with fresh water (the water there is realle fresh - it's mountain creek)

20-06-2006 Banska Stiavnica - Sitno

During my vacation at our cotage we (my father and me) decided to make a trip to Sitno - highest peak in Banska Stiavnica (to be honest - it's just 1009 meters high). In the morning we started from the cottage as you can see here :

Begining of the trip

This photos are not the best, but this is also my turistics diary, take that.

The way had some phases:

1.st phase - way to Zarnovica by bus - so far so good, temperature still below 25 degrees.

2.nd phase - from Zarnovica to Banska Stiavnica by bus - warming ... distance between this cities is not very long, but the road was terrible time consuming. The bus stopped at any trees, ou, I'll let it be.

3.rd phase - from Banska Stiavnica to Pocuvadlo (mountain lake). Boiled, but alive.

Animals like this are near Pocuvadlo lake, in something like little ZOO.

4.th phase : from Pocuvadlo lake to the peak called Sitno. I must note, that this way is not signed very well, bu it takes just 45 minutes.The biggest problem was to find begining of the way up.

You can buy something in th e building, including ice creams and some limonades.

I'm not going to describe our way back, it's enough to say, that we were totaly boiled.I had to buy a flat cap not to get sunstroke. Anyway it was a nice trip, but take better weather with you. And car please, otherwise you depend on local buses, which takes you half of a day.

14-06-2006 Bratislava - Evening walk

This is one of my last days in Bratislava, becouse I move myself to Prague in a few days. Since july I will work in Prague, so you can look forward on Prague photos, I'm looking forward too.

Some photos I've made during my (maybe) last walk at the bank of Croatian branch in Petrzalka, very near to my flat.

This one was very very big. And probably only one. Diameter of this dandelion could be 10cm.

These swans are not very kind, they want only some food and then become to be very agresive!

Escape from the reality.

This really interested me.

I'll brake my tradition of "nice week to everyone", and I'll write "nice weekend to everyone".

11-06-2006 Bratislava - park "Zelezna studnicka"

This weekend I was in Prague, where I bought my new lens : Nikkor 50/1.8D
The next day (Sunday) I went to try this one, but I just started to experience with it.

Is this story? I don't know, consider ...

In the land of bounty,

pride and godliness,

help is always so near.

Under the sight of god,

genuine beauty exceed its limits ...

They are two at the begining , beauty couple

bringing closer at evenings walks

and even at the dance and other things ...

But finally they found themselfs in each other, like a missing piece of understanding.

Words are foolish :-)

01-06-2006 Bratislava - City center

Today I was on a little walk in the city. The clouds were very hard, but I tried to make some shots. There is a lot of interesting corners in the narrow streets untder the castle, but light there is very special, not for shoting during walk. You must wait for a lightm but this time it was just a walk.
