20-08-2006 Kublov - Walk from Zdice to Kublov

This way I was not alone, my uncle took me for walking in forrests near the Prague. We got on the morning train and got off in little city called Zdice. From this moment I have no coordinates, all coordinates uncle with his nose for finding a good path.

Fortunately it's true so after 2-3 hours we found ourselves in village Kublov, where my dad and
uncle were spending part of their holidays in their children's time.

The light in the forrest was very poor, but I had mounted nikor 50mm/1.8D lens, so I tried to make photos with low aperture numbers. It's always fun, becouse you must give very big atention for DOF.

Anyway, the forrest is nice there, but we needed relax from the city at a first place.

Kublov is little village under the hill called Velíz
We visited some family there, "climbed" at the hill Velíz, visited the graveyard and caught the bus to Beroun city.

The ducks were immediately at the bus station. If you want to have a nice shot of ducks (not like this), go there and you can almost speak with them. The are afraid of god's justice only as I could see. Everything shoted with 50mm lens!

19-08-2006 Prague - Petrin at sunrise

Petrin is little hill with observation tower near the Prague castle. The morning was beautiful, the colors amazing. This first photo was made at sunrise from Petrin's orchards without any color retouching

Up on the hill there is a tower and park (and of couse a lot of other things ;-) ). As I was waiting for sunrise with my camera (on tripod) focused to the tree, I cought up young girl with her pets on during morning walks.

The last photo is from absolutely different part of city, where I take off in the afternoon. It's Troja of course, this can't be mistaken.

12-08-2006 Prague - City at sunrise

This saturday morning I got up very soon, at 4 o'clock AM, to catch the first subway to the city (which depart at 4.44 AM)

My trace was following : By subway to station "Mustek", then I was walking trough old town to the bridge "Karlov most".

Do you thing that the city is empty at 5 o'clock AM? All wrong, it's full of people, mostly drunked. From this fact take advantage owners of night clubs, and the are persistently inviting drunked man to see their peep shows. According to my appearance, they fortunately always skipped me (or was it BECAUSE of the tripod in my hand?). Next point in my morning trace was bridge trough "Strelecky ostrov", which is one bridge before the bridge "Karlov most". At the end of bridge I turn the right and wander by the little streets at the bank of river Vltava. It's probably the nicest place in the morning, rays of sunrise makes beautifull colours.

Next point was connect to the other side of the bridge "Karlov most" take photos of the Prague's castle and got back to the Mustek station.

06-08-2006 Prague - City in the rain

It was rainy weather duringall this weekend, I found 50/1.8D Nikkor
Lens on my camera and burst into the city to explore streets in the city center.

I decided to visit Pruhonice - beautifull park in the suburb if Prague. A had just few minutes, becouse I went there after work. Only one photo posted, after this shot I begun headlessness run to main gate of this park.
