22-04-2007 Ceske svycarsko - Jetrichovice and places around

Ceske Svycarsko is National park in Czech republic. I always wanted to visit the park, but without car it's quite unreal (especially if you want to catch sunrise). On Saturday I visited my uncle which invited me for walking in this beauty piece of nature. It was a great surprise for both of us, the nature there os amazing, a lot of uphill view points and sandstones creatures seems to be beated by great artists.

Uncle proposed the trace of approx 45 km length, which we changed later to 25km. It was a good idea, because terrain there is not straightforward, really not.

Sunrise from view point 'Mariina skala' (Maria's rock)

The forest way

Few details of forrest we have been walked through

My uncle and the lowlands ...

Sunrise again

At the trace point 'Mezni louka' we took a launch and started backtracking.

This is must-be trip for all nature lovers.

Bye and I wish you a great week

19-04-2007 Linz - Fragments from Linz

This blog post does not supose to be a Linz tourist guide, it's just a few fragments from Linz city. I had a free time at evenings and early mornings only, but some of those shots I really like. Anyway Linz is nice city with little but paintfull city center and most beautiful new cathedral.

On the bank of Danube river there are green places. Each side of the river has different usage for this free green places. On the city side there is a lot of young people relaxing, drinking ... etc. On the other side of the river there is a "ponny road" where you can run, walk, bike, skate ... The most popular sport along this trace is Nordic walking (with walking sticks).

OK, lets see some photos I've made:

Dandelion, the last from this season ;-)

OK, if you saw Ice age, you must know what I meant

Next time I can shoot something more descriptive, who knows ...

Bye and enjoy the weekend

14-04-2007 Prague - Botanic garden and exotic butterflies

It was beautiful weather this weekend, but I had not enought time to go too far from home. Only one rescue for me was to visit Botanic garden, where exotic butterflies exhibition proceeded. Who think that it's too boring (as I thought before I tried), I can say that it's not. It's very funny, becouse there is really amazing amount of butterflies which are domesticated enough to carry on my backpack (it's red coloured, that's probably why). What is sad is that a lot of them has damaged wings, but they seemed to be happy either.

The tupils are from outside exposition, where I did not wishstood their beauty.

It's just nice to see it, please don't think in terms of art, just enjoy if you can. And if you can't, then wait for another sort of photos :-)

Bye and I wish nice week to everyone

31-03-2007 Marianske lazne - Moorlands

I take a little longer trip this time. I visited Marianske lazne and moorlands around. To be totaly true, I just ran through the city and joined green line turistics road to the village called Kladska. It takes some time, becouse it's about 10km from railway station in Marianske lazne - and the way is not very interesting, becouse the forrest (Slavkov forrest) is actually in terrible state (like some kind of disaster went trough it).

Anyway, the final place worth of it. I never seem something like this moorlands, really. The water there is totaly black, as you might see from photos. Some creeks are dark red coloured, probably becouse of a lot of iron in the ground and water.

Unfortunately I had not enough time, becouse I had to run back for a train, but I hope I can come backe again later (don't worry, I think it serious just a few minutes, then I forgot it)

Inflow to main moorland lake

Inflow to moorlands near Kladska.

The color of water is real ... bloody

Detail of moorlands water grasses.

The water there is really dark, it's magic.

Even if it looks quite depresive, so it is not. It's a great experience, but I did not explore a lot of this moorlands. As I said, maybe next time.

Nice week to everyone
