20-05-2007 Mala Fatra - Mincol

Fatra is beautiful mountain at all. This time a decided to go quite short tour, from Vrutky at the east side of Mala Fatra to Visnove at the west side. The highest mountain peak between them is called Mincol, and it should be my morning destination. OK, let's face it, I lost my self in the morning and I did not catch the first light on the hill. But never mind, I was happy that I found the way at the end.

I finally found a way up, the tour line color was different, but I did not care ...

The night is coming, it's time to find a place and build a tent...

When I weight my backpack at the friends in Zilina, I found it's about 20kgs. After this findings it was harder and harder .... ;-)

10-05-2007 Linz - Rainy day

During my reside in Linz I try to make a photos in the evenings. This week was a crazy april weather, and I did not really want to go out. At the end I pushed my self to get out the hotel, and I was surprised. A lot of beautiful topics stayied before my camera. In the low light you need a very light lens, which I have - Nikkon 50/1.8D. For this purpose was excelent, and I could play with DOF (Non of the pictures were affected by photoshop effects - excluding resizing and color refining)

I;m sure about one thing now - It's perfect to go out and make photos during rain. Just be carefull to your camera.

28-04-2007 Velka Fatra - Borisov

With my friend Roman we took a trip in mountain Velka Fatra. The destination was a mountain cottage, where we wanted to sleep. Unfortunately the weather did not match the forecasts, that's why the photos are not the best, but never mind, it was amazing trip anyway ...

We started from village called Podsucha , next points are :hotel Smrekovica (launch time - great meal), Rakytnik, Ploska, Borisov. The last point was the final one, becouse we accomodated there in the evening. The last sunset photos are from the hill Borisov over the cottage.

Wild crocus - whole mountain planes were covered with this beautiful flower

It was nice trip, when we forget the hard way there, we will retun back in better weather.
BTW there is still a lot of snow tongues at the north side of the hills.
